Carol Tutera was THE gem I found at an Embassy Coffee with a gem theme, it was about pearls. I was wearing my grandmother’s pearls that were up for restringing so I asked for her advise. Carol told me that she could take care of that and we made an appointment. This was more or less 23 years ago. We became instant friends and since Carol has adapted family heirlooms into wearable jewelry. Rebuild an ugly ring with a beautiful stone into a beautiful ring I wear every day. Reset rings that badly needed it, restored antique family jewelry to its old beauty and made it useful again. Carol not only is a brilliant designer but also extremely knowledgeable and helps you to make wise choices.
Carol made me a multi colored pearl necklace ” I could wear with jeans” years before that ever became fashionable. I always wear it and people always comment on it. Carol designed the engagement rings for our son’s brides, 2 so far…. plus the matching earrings we threw in. They are stunning! The process has always been a delight, picking the stones, fiddling with the settings till it was just right, it was so much fun! Carol never lets go till she is entirely satisfied with the result.
